The 48.1 | 48.2 XHV all-metal gate valves are designed for reliable isolation in UHV and XHV applications, accommodating high ambient temperatures up to 300°C and exposure to corrosive and condensable media.

These valves can withstand radiation levels up to 10⁸ Gy. Equipped with VATRING “metal-to-metal” sealing technology, they provide consistently reliable sealing and high sealing forces with minimal axial force.

Constructed from stainless steel, these all-metal gate valves are engineered for a lifespan of 20,000 cycles (DN 16 mm – 200 mm) and 5,000 cycles (DN 250 mm – 320 mm). The sealing system, however, is designed to achieve 100,000 leak-tight closures in a clean vacuum environment.

The 48.1 series has proven its reliability in thousands of demanding applications. Various design options for drive mechanisms, flange connections, and additional vacuum ports allow for easy integration into any vacuum application.
