The MAG050, MAG060, and MAG070 gauge tubes are long-established, passive, inverted magnetron cold cathode gauges designed for operation with the vacuum gauge controllers VGC094 and VGC083C. They are intended for vacuum measurement in the pressure range from 1×10⁻¹¹ (MAG070) to 5×10⁻³ mbar. The compact metal construction provides a robust solution for general vacuum applications. The MAG050 is a cold cathode gauge tube with an elastomer-sealed feedthrough.

Thanks to their all-metal construction, the MAG060 and MAG070 meet the demands of challenging applications requiring bakeout temperatures up to 250°C or high resistance to ionizing radiation. Both allow pressure measurements in the UHV range. The TRIAX connection of the MAG070 enables the measurement of extremely low pressures (down to 1×10⁻¹¹ mbar) and operation over long distances between the gauge tube and the controller (up to 500 m). All gauge tubes feature an ignition aid attached to the anode (which shortens the ignition time of the cold cathode at low pressure) and can be easily disassembled and cleaned, ensuring long-term use with minimal downtime.
