Further information

Overview ISO-KF | DIN 28403
Description: ISO-KF is a quick-connect system widely used in vacuum technology. It consists of symmetrical flanges connected by a clamping ring and an elastomeric/metallic seal.

Sizes: ISO-KF components are available in nominal diameters ranging from DN10 to DN50.

Vacuum Range: ISO-KF is primarily used for coarse and fine vacuum applications, typically up to a vacuum range of 10⁻⁷ mbar.

Usage: Commonly used in laboratory applications and smaller vacuum setups due to its ease of handling and the ability to quickly connect and disconnect components.

Technical Data for Aluminum | 3.2315

Aluminum is a lightweight yet strong metal with a variety of beneficial properties. It is corrosion-resistant, making it particularly suitable for outdoor applications. Additionally, aluminum is easily formable and machinable, making it a versatile material for various industries such as aerospace, construction, packaging, and transportation. Aluminum also offers good electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as an attractive surface finish, making it a popular material for many applications.

Technical Data FPM | FKM

Designation: Fluoroelastomer (FPM)

Temperature Range: -20°C to +200°C

Application Areas: Fluoroelastomer is characterized by excellent resistance to high temperatures, ozone, mineral oils, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels, many organic solvents, and chemicals.

Due to its low gas permeability, FPM is suitable for high vacuum applications.

Technical Data for Borosilicate Glass

Designation: Borosilicate Glass

Temperature Resistance: -50°C to +500°C

Application Areas:
Due to its exceptional thermal and chemical properties, borosilicate glass is the preferred choice for applications requiring extreme temperatures and chemical stress, such as in vacuum technology, the chemical industry, and high-temperature research. It exhibits excellent resistance to many chemical substances, including acids, alkalis, and organic solvents.
