The primary requirements for an angle valve in UHV applications include reliable operation, minimal direct and indirect particle release, and low outgassing rates. The 28.4 UHV angle valve series sets the standard in these areas by minimizing the risk of particle release and outgassing.

Equipped with rotatable CF flanges and metal bonnet seals, the series is suitable for bakeout temperatures up to 200°C in the manual version and up to 150°C in the pneumatically driven version. The 28.4 is ideal for pumping down and venting vacuum systems and can withstand high differential pressure.
